About This Club
Welcome to JAKKA Club! Whether you are clocking miles solo in your neighborhood, hitting local trails, or gathering for group runs across the Metroplex, this community is built to keep us connected, active, and motivated.
Club Rules
To keep our community supportive, safe, and engaging, please follow these guidelines:
1. Log Your Miles & Share the Energy 📸
Run Anywhere, Anytime: Run individually or coordinate group link-ups in your local area (Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Lake Ray Hubbard, etc.).
Post Your Runs: Share your stats, route screenshots (Strava, Nike, Garmin), photos, or post-run selfies in the group! Your consistency inspires others to move.
2. All Paces & Fitness Levels Welcome 🤝
No Runner Left Behind: We welcome walkers, joggers, road runners, and marathoners alike.
Support Each Other: Show love on member posts! A simple comment or reaction goes a long way in keeping everyone accountable and motivated.
3. Group Run Safety & Coordination 🚨
Safety First: If running solo, stay aware of your surroundings, wear reflective gear during early mornings or evenings, and stay hydrated.
Organizing Link-Ups: Anyone can invite members for a run! When proposing a group run, clearly state the Location/Park, Date, Start Time, Distance, and Expected Pace.
4. Keep It Positive & On-Topic 💬
Stay Focused on Fitness & Community: Keep posts relevant to running, fitness, health, nutrition, local events, and community wellness.
Zero Tolerance for Disrespect: Respect all members. Harassment, hate speech, spam, political arguments, or self-promotion unrelated to the club will be removed.
5. Accountability & Consistency 🔥
Set Personal Goals: Use this group to hold yourself accountable—whether your goal is 1 mile a week or training for a half-marathon.
Show Up & Have Fun: We run for health, culture, friendship, and community strength. Enjoy the journey!

Community Club Guidelines (apply to every club)
These guidelines apply to every club of the South Sudanese Equatorian Community of DFW and sit alongside each club's own rules.
1. Unity and respect. Clubs exist to bring our community together. Treat every member with dignity regardless of tribe, clan, faith, gender, age, or background. Discrimination, harassment, or intimidation of any kind is not tolerated.
2. Align with our mission. Club activities must support the community's mission of preserving our culture, supporting our families, empowering our youth, and building a stronger Equatorian community in DFW.
3. Open to members. Clubs are open to community members in good standing. Membership in a club may not be refused for reasons unrelated to the club's stated purpose.
4. No politics or division. Clubs may not be used to promote partisan or tribal politics, or to divide the community.
5. Lawful and safe. All activities must comply with the law. Alcohol, drugs, gambling, and weapons are prohibited at club activities unless expressly permitted by the Executive Cabinet.
6. Money matters. Any dues, fundraising, or spending must be transparent, agreed by the club's members, and reported to the Treasurer on request.
7. Represent us well. When speaking or posting on behalf of a club, remember you represent the whole community.
8. Accountability. Club administrators are responsible for their club's conduct. The Executive Cabinet may suspend or dissolve a club that breaks these guidelines.
